[4] Notes - Weisenberg Kathleen Weisenberg, age 69, of Westerville, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 12, 2015 with her family at her side after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born January 4, 1946 in Columbus, OH, the youngest child to the late Everett and Elsie Bump. Kathleen grew up in Marysville and was a 1964 graduate of Marysville H.S. where she was involved in many clubs and activities. She graduated from Otterbein College in 1968 with a B.A. in Education. Kathleen taught at various elementary schools all in the Westerville school system. She was an educator who touched many lives and made a difference. Kathleen loved being a teacher and was an education professional. Above all, Kathleen was a loving wife, mother, and a dear grandmother. She was the best mom you could ask for and had an extraordinary unique bond and relationship with her grandson, Will. Kathleen looked forward to lunches and shopping with her friends. She very much enjoyed time spent with her family and friends. She also enjoyed reading and traveling. Kathleen represented everything that was good and set the standard for excellence. She was highly loved and respected by everyone who ever met her and lit up a room with her smile. She will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents, Kathleen was preceded in death by her brother Richard Bump. Kathleen will be missed by her husband of almost 43 years, Bill; daughters, Lisa (Brian) Arnett and Leslie Weisenberg; grandson, Will Arnett; brother, Duane (Karen) Bump; sister-in-law, Laura Bump; and her grand-dog, Oliver. Family will receive friends Monday, March 16, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St., Worthington (Just south of I-270), where the funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2015. Interment Blendon Central Cemetery.
