  Notes	William “Bill” Clay Ropp, 63, of Urbana passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born October 16, 1959 in Urbana the son of the late Lenord and Laura (Bodey) Ropp. Bill was a graduate of the 1977 class of West Liberty. In his free time, Bill loved farming and being outdoors hunting and fishing. He also loved taking long rides in the country. If he was stuck inside, he loved watching his westerns, and spending time with his family and loved ones. Bill truly lived his life by a quote from Will Rodgers, “I never met a man I didn’t like” He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Cyronda Lyn (Curtis); daughters, Jennifer Dawson and Amanda (Andrew) Gay; grandchildren, Roan and Audrey Dawson, and Micah and Colton Gay; brother, Ed Ropp; sisters, Esta Huffman and Clara Cupps; as well as numerous nieces and nephews that he enjoyed watching grow up. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Nelson and Elmer Ropp; and sisters, Marion Ropp, Sue Holbrook, and Leona Minnich. A Celebration of Life will be held at later date in accordance with the family’s wishes. Arrangements entrusted to Vernon Funeral Home, Urbana, Ohio.
