  Notes	Longs… Paul J. Brooks, age 79, passed away Monday, May 30, 2016. Mr. Brooks was born in Webster Springs, WV, a son of the late John F. and Ina A. Brooks. He was a member of Living Water Baptist Church where he was a Choir Member, Sunday School Teacher, Deacon and Trustee. Mr. Brooks was a machinist and former owner of Paulmark Enterprises. He also worked as a general agent in the insurance industry. Mr. Brooks was predeceased by his first wife, Arlene G. Brooks; four brothers, Lance Brooks, Lester Brooks, Clifford Brooks and Junior Brooks; and three sisters, Freda Baker, Beulah Cogar and Jean Lilly. Survivors include his wife, Lanell H. Brooks of Longs; one son, Mark Duane Brooks and his wife Charlene of Huron, OH; two daughters, Barbara Lynn Miller and her husband Tracy of Palm Coast, FL, and Jeannie Renee Copley and her husband Rick of Longs; two step-sons, Frankie Tyler of Longs and Derrick Tyler and his wife Ashley of Aynor; seven grandchildren, Lisa, Caleb, Joshua, Brittany, Kaitlin, Peyton, and Noah; four great-grandchildren, Malachi, Elijah, Gracie-Lynn, and Ella; one great-great grandson, Ezekiel; one brother, Bacel Brooks of Cleveland, Ohio; and one sister, Ina Hall of Birmingham, OH. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2016, at Living Water Baptist Church with Rev. Lebron Crisp and Rev. John Goudelock officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Longs, SC. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be sent to Living Water Baptist Church Building Fund, 1569 Highway 9 East, Longs, SC 29568.
