  Notes	MARYSVILLE — Paul Edward Wibley, 83, of Magnetic Springs, died Monday, March 20, 2017, at Memorial Gables following an extended illness. Paul worked as a butcher for many years with both Delaware Meats and Marysville Meats. He was instrumental in forming the Magnetic Springs Baseball and Softball Association to which he was honored by having the field named after him in 1992. His impact on the baseball and softball association was more than just forming it, it was the lasting impressions he left on so many of the youth players, serving more than 30 years as a coach. There was never a stranger when in the presence of Paul, as he would be sure to make an introduction and a friend. He served on the town council in Magnetic Springs for many years, enjoyed driving stock cars, was a NASCAR fan, especially of Dale Sr. and Dale Jr. but his time with his family is what he cherished most, never missing an activity of his children and grandchildren. Born July 5, 1933 in Marysville, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary (Speakman) Wibley. On Sept. 5, 1953 in Indiana, he married his wife of 57 years, Joyce E. (Stidam) and she preceded him in death in 2010. He was also preceded in death by a son, Mike Wibley; his brothers, Charles and Richard "Dick" Wibley; and a sister, Mary McConnahea. Surviving are his daughters, Brenda (Scott) Bowles of Corpus Christi, Texas, Karen (Fiance Mark Wilds) Miller of Marysville and Pennie (Mike) Knaul of Marysville; grandchildren, Dustin Wibley, Shea Nelson, Shaun Miller, Jeremy (Jerri) Knaul, Kacy (William) Gaddis and Brandon (Vicki) Bowles; 15 great-grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth Wibley of Indian Lake; a sister-in-law, Mary Wibley of Marysville; brother-in-law, Phillip (Lynn) Stidam; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 24, 2017, at Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel, 621 W. Fifth St., Marysville. Ed Beeson will officiate and burial will follow at Maple Dell Cemetery in Magnetic Springs. Friends may call from 3-7 p.m. Thursday, March 23, 2017, at the funeral home.
