  Notes	Veda Gay Tracy Hamrick, 61 of Beech Bottom, formerly of Diana, went home to be with her Lord and family on the other side on Monday, January 23, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born January 05, 1956 in Webster Springs to Earl Thornton and Lillian Marine Skeens Tracy and spent the majority of her life in Diana. Veda was a devoted wife and mother who loved her family, especially her grandkids. She was a Christian and loved to sing and go to church. She loved kids and had a big heart. Veda formerly worked for Webster County Senior Citizens as a home health care aide. Veda is survived by her husband Franklin Hamrick of Beech Bottom; children Charolette (Jason) Chambers, Franklin (Kristen) Hamrick, and Miranda Hamrick; grandchildren Jayla and Joshua Chambers and Noah and Paisley Hamrick; brothers and sisters Sue Cochran, Earl Tracy, Linda (Doyle) Cowger, Eppy (Chester) Sears, Edna (Phillip) Channell, Ellen Sturm, Richard (Denise) Tracy, Becky (Shane) Hamrick, Willa (Curt) Davis, and Molly (Ben) Crites; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Sondra O’Dell; brother Lindell “Dink” Tracy; brothers-in-law Gary Cochran, Bill O’Dell, and Howard Sturm; sister-in-law Karen Tracy; and nieces Lisa Perkins, Tammy Clevenger, and Monta and Mary Jane Cowger. Friends may join the family for visitation on Friday, January 27, 2017 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Veda’s life will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Pritt and Rev. Curt Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Harrison Cochran Cemetery.
