They preceded him in death. He attended schools in Sutton. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a proud member of the United States Navy Honor Guard Team that served for the funeral of President John F. Kennedy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jeffery Dale Clifton, three brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by his wife Wanda of the home, a daughter, Angela; two step-daughters, Shirley and Misty; a sister, Betty; eight grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. A committal service will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2009 at the Leavenworth National Cemetery.
