C., Thursday, and his death was attributed to a heart attack. Mr. Payne had operated a small business in Washington for several years. The body arrived at Berry and Son mortuary here today. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p. m. in the Fairview Methodist church near Webster Springs and burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will remain at the mortuary here until Sunday at 10 a. m. Surviving besides his parents are his widow, Mrs. Alma Payne, and a son, Sheridan, both of Washington; four sisters, Mrs. Pearl Gregory and Mrs. Jeanette Dennison, both of Akron, O.. Mrs. Ella Miller of Webster Springs, and Mrs. Peggy Schubert of Sutton; and three brothers, Tanny of Sutton, Walter of Morgantown, and Ralph Payne of Akron.
