Mr. Boyer was a lifelong resident of Akron, had owned and operated the Boyer Heating Co., and also was a general contractor for the City of Akron Urban Renewal Development Program. He will be missed by wife, Gladys; son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Mary Boyer; daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Gary Neumeyer; stepdaughter, Linda Studer; stepson and daughter-in-law, Ron and Dee Hopkins; eight grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren; sisters, Charlotte and Betty of Florida, Barbara of Akron. Funeral services will be Saturday, 1 p.m., at the Eckard-Baldwin Funeral Home, Rev. Dr. H.H. Fischer officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
