  Notes	— Grace B. Alderman, 79, of Rock Cave, went to walk with the Lord on Tuesday, June 21, 2016. She was born May 5, 1937 at Grassy Creek in Webster County, a daughter of the late Richard and Adeline Williams Robinson. Grace was most affectionately known as “Granny Grace” after 35 years of driving a school bus, most recently for Upshur County Head Start. She was very proud of being an accident-free bus driver for all those years. Besides the children, she enjoyed working in her flower garden, cooking, canning, caring for the elderly and taking care of her special little dog, Rambo. Grace will be missed by her loving husband of 33 years, Junior; her three daughters, Josephine “Jo” Davison, Marjorie “Marg” Allman and husband Rick and Roberta Jordan and husband Harmon, all of Rock Cave; grandchildren, Adam Allman, of Philippi, Anthony Allman, of Morgantown,; Matthew Conard, of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Haley Bennett and husband Aaron, of Seattle, Wash.; brothers, Jim Robinson and wife Ruth, of Union City, Tenn., Roscoe Robinson and wife Katie, of Walkersville, and John Robinson and wife Sharen, of Anmoore; sisters, Nettie Gregory, of Ireland, Betty Mitchell and husband Bob, of Oil Creek, Hazel Blake and husband Aubrey, of Horner, and Katherine Craig and husband Leon, of Walkersville, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Tom, Roy, Branty and Lloyd Robinson and sister, Rose Nissel. Friends will be received today, Friday, June 24, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor David Jessie and Rev. Brad Tenney officiating. Burial will follow in the Rock Cave Cemetery in Rock Cave. The family would like to send a special thanks to the staff at W.Va. Hospice, Sherry McIe and Pastor David Jessie.
