  Notes	Charleston Gazette November 23, 2012 Janet Sue (Morris) Kirik, 63, of Union City, Pa., passed away Monday, November 20, 2012, at her home, surrounded by her family. Janet was born February 24, 1949, in Gassaway, a daughter to Madeline (Keener) Morris and the late Esker J. Morris Sr. Janet served on the Union City School Board for many years and was also an Avon representative and a private health-care provider. She loved her family, caring for animals, going antiquing and collecting quilts. She was preceded in death by her father, Esker J. Morris Sr.; and a daughter, Karen Sue Kirik. Survivors include her husband, Kervin K. Kirik of Union City, whom she married on October 25, 1969; a daughter, Kari Ann Kirik of Erie, Pa.; her mother, Madeline Morris of Sutton; sisters, Judy Ann Beane and her husband, Sterling, of Gassaway and Joy West of Baden, Pa.; and a brother, Esker J. Morris Jr. of Sutton. Friends will be received at Robert M. Glenn Funeral Home, Inc., 62 South Main St., Union City, on Saturday, November 24, from 6 to 9 p.m. Further visitation will be held at Greene-Robertson Funeral Home, 600 Riverview Drive, Sutton, on Monday, November 26, from 6 to 8 p.m., with funeral service held there on Tuesday, November 27, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Robert Godfrey officiating. Interment will be in Keener Family Cemetery, Sutton. Memorials are requested to the American Cancer Society.
