  Notes	Bob E. Miller, 84, resident of 126 Kings Grant Lane, husband of Mary Jane Goff Miller, passed away February 20, 2017, at Self Regional Medical Center. Born August 20, 1932, in S. Charleston WV, Kanawha County, he was a son of the late Earl H. and Ora Virginia Holstein Miller. He was a 1951 graduate of S. Charleston High School and received an Associate's Degree from Morris Harvey University in Charleston WV, and attended West Virginia State University. He was a US Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict having served in the Military Airlift Command serving the supply needs of the Aleutian Islands. Bob first worked with True Temper Corporation in Charleston WV, and later retired from Gates Rubber Company in Moncks Corner after 13 years of service and then Nitta Corporation in Duluth GA, from which he retired as the Industrial Engineer, Head of Operations. He was instrumental in helping to bring and set up the Industrial Engineering side of several Japanese factories to the United States. He was raised in the Spring Hill Church of the Nazarene, and was formerly a member, Deacon and Elder of Lydia Robson Presbyterian Church in Charleston WV, having been, at the time, the youngest Elder ever elected in WV. Mr. Miller also formerly served as a Cub Scout Leader in WV. He was a member of Hunter's Creek Golf Club and the Hunter's Creek Seniors as well as the South Carolina Senior Golf Association. He was a former member of the George Miler Country Club; the King's Grant Country Club and the Country Club of Charleston in the Charleston SC area and was a former member of the Elks Club in WV. He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers, James C. "Jimmy" Miller and Okey L. Miller. Surviving in addition to his wife of 64 years are a son, William Robert Miller, DMD and wife Anne Michelle of Greenwood; a sister, Jean Frame of Spring Hill WV; three grandchildren, Mary Katherine Miller, Bo Miller and Harris Miller. Entombment with Military Rites in the Oakbrook Memorial Park Mausoleum. Blyth Funeral Home.
