  Notes	Jesus has called home long-time Clarkston resident, Mary E. Eggerling, gathered with the saints to that happy home where there are no tears or pain. On Thursday, August 7, 2003, at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, her loving husband of over 40 years, Casper S. (Cap) Eggerling, bid her farewell after a long struggle with the infirmities that had beset her. He and their children; a son, the Rev. Edmund L. Cogar of Portland, Or., a daughter, Pamela S. Goodman of Vancouver,Wash; four grandchildren, Airman 1st Class Scott D. Goodman of Beale Air Force Base, Calif, Joshua L. Cogar, presently ministering in the country of Denmark, Rachel D. Cogar of Portland, Heather L. Alvarez of Keizer, Ore; and great- grandson, David C. Alvarez of Keizer, find their solace in the knowledge that she is in the arms of Jesus. She was born in Diana, W. Virginia, September 13, 1929, to her parents Daisy (Slaughter) Gregory and Edgar Wade Gregory. She had four brothers and two sisters who she loved dearly. Three have preceded her in death to be with the Lord: Pauline M. Sutton, Charles Ace Gregory and Franklin Lane Gregory. Her surviving sister is Betty J. Carter of Mesa, Ariz., and two brothers, Daymon H. Gregory and Wade Junior Gregory of Sutton, W. Virginia. Those to whom she was dear will always remember fondly her beautiful smile, sense of humor, spirit of adventure, courage and love of country. Her funeral service and life will be celebrated at the church where she worshipped for many years, the Clarkston First Church of God, on the corner of Diagonal and Sycamore at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday.
