  Notes	Little Nellie Crites, two-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. "Mike" Crites of Cutlip Addition, died at midnight Wednesday, after she had taken a number of laxative pills which she thought was candy. Another daughter, Mary Nell, age 28 months, is in serious condition but physicians have hope for her recovery. The parents were out working in their garden about 7 o'clock in the evening and the two little girls went to visit their grandmother, Mrs. Mary Crites. In some manner, the children found a bottle of pills they thought to be candy, but were strong laxative pills containing 1-60 grain strychnine. It is not known how many of the pills the children ate. Nellie became ill about nine o'clock and Dr. H.S. Brown was called. He gave all aid that was possible in an effort to save the life of the child. Funeral arrangements were not complete when the Central went to press
