He was born November 27, 1929, in Webster Springs, West Virginia to Earl and Millie (nee Cogar) Cutlip. Doy retired after 30+ years from General Motors. He was a long-time member of the Strongsville Masonic Lodge #728 as a 32nd degree Mason where he was a Past Master. He also belonged to the Scottish Rite in the Valley of Cleveland, the Medina Odd Fellows and Brunswick VFW #9520. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Left to celebrate Doy's life are his loving children, Scott Cutlip and Bruce (Tammy) Cutlip; cherished grandson, Nicholas Winters; his brothers, Roy (Doy's twin) and Charles; and many extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 65 years, Jean; his daughter, Sherry; his sisters, Desta, Estel, Belva, Wanetta, and Aretta.
The family will welcome visitors from 6 to 8 PM on Monday, April 10th, 2023, at Waite & Son Funeral Home located at 3300 Center Road in Brunswick, OH. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, April 11th at Eastlawn Memory Gardens in Brunswick, OH.
