The U.S. survivors include his wife, Aartje; daughter, Corrie; son, Joshua; sister, Gail Chism; brothers, Garth and Glenn; and half-sister, Doris Keefer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thelma Mae Thorne and Robert Lee Walters (Levi Minnich). Service was Friday, February 8th at the Castleview Baptist Church, 8601 Hague Road in Indianapolis, Indiana. A graveside service was Saturday, February 9th at Pennsylvania Run Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
