  Notes	Norma E. Swysgood, 76, a lifetime resident of Springfield died Tuesday, July 17, 2007 in Pathways Center at the Ohio Masonic Home following six months illness. She was born June 4, 1931 in Springfield the daughter of Willis Henry, Sr. and Mary (Loudenbach) Trainor. Mrs. Swysgood was a 1949 graduate of Springfield High School and received her Bachelors of Science in Education from Wittenberg University in 1953. She retired from Springfield City Schools with thirty-eight years service, twenty-one of which were spent teaching Kindergarten at Fulton Elementary. Mrs. Swysgood was a lifelong active member of Fifth Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Honorary Teaching Society for over fifty years and belonged to the Retired Teachers Association. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law Lydia A. and Clark Pizner of Springfield; one son and daughter-in-law Mark A. and Sharon Swysgood of Pelham, Alabama; one brother and sister-in-law Willis Henry, Jr. and Thelma Trainor of Newark, Ohio; two grandchildren Dustin and Jennifer Swysgood; two nieces Cheryl Trainor and Sayoko Meyer; three nephews David, Daryl and Neil Trainor. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of forty-nine years, Donald L. Swysgood in 2003. Friends may call Friday from 4-7 PM. in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME and for one hour prior to services in church. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM. in Fifth Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Carol Gesalman officiating. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Delta Kappa Gamma Honorary Teaching Society or to the Alzheimer's Association.
