Losing Cliffy is devastatingly sad, but I was blessed to be his wife for 34 years, and it does not get any better than that. He loved coaching and working with young people, watching them learn life skills far beyond 'the' game," his wife, Lois, said.
Mr. Massie was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Lois L. Massie of Kenai; daughters, Lisa LaTourneau and her husband, Chal, of Vancouver, Wash. and Lori Massie and her husband, Manny Gomez, of Olympia, Wash.; mother, Ella Massie of Battle Ground; brothers, Jack Massie of Battle Ground and Wally Massie of Kalispell, Mont.; sisters, Grace Redinger of Spearfish, S.D., and Loretta Lindberg of Sheridan, Wyo.; brothers, Rod Massie of Davenport, Iowa and Randy Massie of Battle Ground; adopted daughter, Kyong Jun and her husband, Paul, and their children, Eugenie, Alenn and Ellie of Tacoma, Wash.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
