  Notes	Gail Alfred Cogar, age 89, passed away in Medina, Ohio on August 22, 2021. He was born in Skelt, W Va on November 30, 1931 to the late Cecil and Effie (Hamrick) Cogar. Gail served his country proudly in the US Army during the Korean War. He worked as an electrician with General Motors in Parma, Ohio for over 30 years. He married the love of his life, Icie Sue Clevenger and together they raised their family. Gail loved to tell a good story, enjoyed making others laugh, and he had a lightness about him that attracted others to his company. He loved his garden. He was Mr. Fix-it, he could fix just about anything. He loved traveling back to West Virginia, but above all cherished time with his family, especially his grandchildren. His beloved wife was always his number one priority. Gail is survived by his children, Scott (Diane) Cogar and James (Theresa) Cogar; 13 grandchildren; brothers, Edward and Joseph Cogar; and a lifetime of collected friends. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Icie Sue (Clevenger) Cogar; sons, Michael and Kevin; grandson, Kyler; his parents; and brothers, Jack and Jerry Cogar. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N Court Street, Medina, Ohio 44256. Immediately followed by a funeral service at 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Triangle Baptist Church, 7156 Hunter Drive, Chippewa Lake, Ohio 44215.
