  Notes	Norma Jeannine Thomas-Smith life’s journey ended here on earth on the 24th day of December. Jeannine was born February 20, 1932 in Urbana, Ohio the daughter of Edwin Wingfield and Bernice (Perry) Weaver. She retired from Grimes Aerospace in 1993. Jeannine enjoyed crafting, especially ceramics and sewing. She was affectionately known as “The Sewing Lady” and had many friends pay a visit to her home with their sewing needs from near and far. She is survived by her daughter, Vickie (Steve) Smith of Lakeview, son Aaron (Pattie) Thomas of Sierra Vista, AZ, daughter Jill Thomas of Bellefontaine, seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; her step-mother, Evelyn Wingfield of Urbana; half-sisters, Becky (Dwight) Pullins of Urbana and Shirley (Rodney) Pullins of Urbana; half-brother, Edwin Wingfield of AZ, step-daughter, Linda (Rich) Richmond of Enon; a step-daughter-in-law, Vickie Smith of Clifton, the father of her children, Dow Thomas, as well as numerous nieces and nephews of several generations. She was preceded in death by Emma Lucille Yoder, who lovingly raised her from birth; her parents; husband of 16 years, William “Bill” Smith; 2nd husband, Charles Ingledue; and a stepson, Richard “Dick” Smith. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, December 29, 2013 in the Vernon Funeral Home, Urbana, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 30, 2013 in funeral home with Rev. Dr. Timothy West officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Dale Cemetery, Urbana. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Association of Champaign County, P.O. Box 38125, Urbana, Ohio 43078 or to the Champaign County 4-H Extension office, (Sewing) 1512 US Hwy 68, Urbana, Ohio 43078. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.vernonfh.com.
