She was born March 09, 1940 in Braxton County, WV a daughter of the late Denny and Amy Persinger Searfoss. She was a homemaker. Her family was her life. She was preceded in death by husband, James H. Cogar. She is survived by son, Richard Hoover; daughter, Tammy McKenzie; stepdaughters, Teena Brandick and Tammy Cogar; brother, James Searfoss; grandchildren, Travis Hoover, Curtis Marshall, Brandon Hoover, Joshua Hoover, Zakary Hoover and Mollee Brandick; great grandchildren, Connor Hoover, Arianna Hoover and Madyson Marshall; great-great grandchild, Kyron Hoover. Service will be 7 PM Sunday, April 08, 2018 at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway. Visitation will be three hours prior to service at the funeral home. In Keeping with “tittles’” wishes, she will be cremated following services. Arrangements by Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway.
