  Notes	Evelyn M. Copen (“Granny”), 89, of Elizabeth, WV, passed away Monday, December 26, 2016, at Parkersburg Care Center. She was born June 17, 1927, the daughter of the Late Charles and Lilly (Williams) Hall. She retired from the Wirt County Head Start after 25 years of service and was a member of Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle of Elizabeth, WV. She enjoyed traveling with the Wirt County Senior Citizens, was an Avid Quilter, enjoyed going to Auctions and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children: Dale Copen of Elizabeth; Darrell (Dorsey) Copen of Titusville, PA; Dorl Copen (Pam) of Elizabeth; Carolyn Gillian of Coolville, OH; Doris Cottrell of Elizabeth; Donna Copen (Roy) of Elizabeth; and Dianna Rader (Tom) of Annamoriah. She is also survived by one brother, Ronnie Hall of Barberton, OH; 24 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur D. (Jack) Copen; a son, Delmas Copen; an infant daughter, Brenda Copen; sisters Leola Whited, Betty Cunningham, Gladys Hopkins, Cora Boggs, Clara Criss, and Erma Smith; infant sisters Ilene and Imagene; brothers Charles Hall Jr. and Harry Hall; grandsons Rondal Copen and John Jason Copen; and great grandsons, Jason Copen and Chase Enoch. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday December 31, 2016, at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth, WV, with the Rev. Timothy Hopkins officiating. Visitation will be Friday, December 30, 2016, 4-8 p.m. Interment will be at Owl Hill Cemetery.
