  Notes	Joshua Adam Conrad, beloved son of Bobby E. and Rebecca Williams Conrad, passed away at home after a short illness on Monday, February 9, 2009. He was 19 years old. Joshua was born September 30, 1989, in Weston. He worked hard to live a normal life, in spite of his constant battle with blood glycogen storage disease, and seemed to have found his calling in electrical school. Josh completed a four-year electrical technical program and passed his apprentice test while a student at Braxton High School, where he graduated in 2008. He was enrolled at Fred W. Eberle Technical Center in Weston and preparing to take his journeyman's test when he died. Music played a big part in Josh's short life and he was an extremely talented musician. He was best at guitar and was learning to play the banjo and mandolin, too. Josh had the most infectious smile and was a big help to his parents at home and in their greenhouse on Oil Creek Road. He loved the outdoors, especially camping out with his friends, and spending time with his redbone coonhound pup. The loss of Josh will be felt by so many. Along with Joshua's parents, he leaves behind his paternal grandparents, Avis Conrad and Harry Brown of Burnsville; his maternal grandmother, Kay Stump of Burnsville; paternal grandfather, Dale Williams of Napier; his aunt, Lisa Williams Stout and her husband, Scott, of Three Lick; and his beloved cousin, Tyler Stout. The viewing and service will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, February 13, at Stockert-Gibson Funeral Home in Flatwoods. Don Worth will officiate. The Glycogen Storage Disease Association has started a memorial fund in Joshua's name.
