  Notes	Arlene Searfoss, 69, died at 2:00 p.m. in the DeKalb Memorial Hospital on Sunday, April 4. Mrs. Searfoss was born, July 31, 1906 in Wilmington township to Clarence and Maggie Slentz Cook. She was married in 1926 to Nathan Houser who preceded her in death in January 1942. On May 10, 1949 she married Orle Searfoss who preceded her in death on November 20, 1967. Mrs. Searfoss is survived by one son, Donald Houser of Butler; one daughter, Mrs. Nathan Berndt, Auburn. Also stepchildren, Wayne Searfoss, Caracas, Venezuela, and ______ VanderHule, Columbia South Carolina. One brother, Scott Cook of Detroit, Mich. and one sister, Mrs. Helen Gilbert of Findley, Ohio. Funeral services were held at the Johnson Funeral Home, Wednesday, April 7 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Carl Greek of the Nazarene Church in Auburn officiating. Burial was in the Butler Cemetery.
