  Notes	Catherine A. Ristau, 93, of Geneseo, passed away Friday, October 16, 2009 at her home. A Funeral Mass celebrating her life will be held 10:30 am Tuesday October 20th at St. Malachy's Catholic Church, Geneseo. Rev. Michael Pakula will officiate. Burial will be in the North Cemetery, Geneseo. Family and friends of Catherine may call Monday from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Vandemore Funeral Home, Geneseo; where a scripture service will be held at 6:45 pm. Memorials may be left to the Catherine A. Ristau Memorial Fund. Catherine was born on December 24, 1915 in Ottoville, OH, the daughter of Justin P. and Emma (Lothamer) Lomont. She had been employed at the Geneseo Telephone Company as an operator/technician for many years from which she retired. Catherine was a member of St. Malachy's Catholic Church, and the Altar and Rosary Society Circle 9 of the church. She enjoyed gardening, refurnishing furniture, quilting, and crocheting and was an avid reader. Survivors include two daughters and spouse Christine Buysse, Geneseo; Catherine and John Skerke, Crystal Lake, IL; four sons and spouses Michael and Pattie Ristau, Chesterfield, MO; Patrick and Pamela Ristau, Geneseo; Archie and Bonnie Ristau, Delaware, OH; David and Maria Ristau, Waukesha, WI, 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, two sisters and spouses Monica and Joseph Kencht, Monroeville, IN; and Caroline and Frank Hill, Milton, WI. She was preceded in death by her son Dennis, a grandson James Skerke, three brothers and three sisters.
