- Daniel Andrew Soucia, 25, of Willard St., Malone died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016 at CVPH Medical Center, Plattsburgh, NY.
Born in Malone, NY on May 11, 1990, he was the son of David Soucia and Yvonne (Campbell) Music.
Daniel graduated from Franklin Academy with the Class of 2010. He was employed at North Star Industries, Malone. He loved volunteering for Meals on Wheels and at the Burke Adult Center. His hobbies included going to the movies, music, reading, the Sunday night mixed bowling league and presidential history.
Daniel is survived by his father and step-mother, David and Kelly Soucia of Bellmont Center; his mother and step-father, Yvonne and Dennis Music of Korea; three sisters, Rachel and Lisa Soucia, Catherine Music; a brother, Logan Soucia; four aunts, Tonya Healey of Malone, Tammie Campbell of Michigan, Heidi Campbell of Connecticut, Kristie and Tal Haley of Mayfield, KY; grandparents, Thomas and Peggy Soucia of Bellmont, Eileen Campbell of Watertown, Carol and Randy Gadway of Morrisonville, James Campbell of Tacoma, WA; many cousins including Derek and Michaela Healey; great-aunt and uncles, Pauline and Richard Cooke of Champlain, Harold Cromp of Malone; special friends, Eileen Lepine and Joan Reome.
He was predeceased by an aunt, Lisa Campbell.
Calling hours will be held at the Chateaugay Funeral Home on Friday, Feb. 5 from 7 to 9 p.m.
A prayer service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 6 in the funeral home chapel.
Spring burial will take place at Bellmont Cemetery, Bellmont.
Donations in his memory may be made to Burke Adult Center.
