Eakle, 92, of Sutton, WV., died April 27, 2002 Sutton, WV. at her home after an extended illness. She was born on February 25, 1910, in Braxton Co.Sutton, Wv. The daughter of the late Preston B. and Elizabeth Skidmore Cutlip. She was a home maker and a nurse. She assisted her husband, Dr. J.C. Eakle, for many years in his family practice in Sutton, WV. She was a member of the Christ Church United Methodist in Sutton. Mrs. Eakle was also a past member of the Sutton Womens Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. J.C.Eakle in 1981; and three brothers; John Hubert (wife Alice), Thomas (wife Madilyn), Gerald W. (wife Dorothy)Cutlip. Mrs. Eakle is survived by sons, John C. Eakle of Canton, Ohio; James P. Eakle, and his wife Debbie of Charlotte, NC; and Charles Ben Eakle and wife Karen of Kingsport, TN. Also surviving are six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 1, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at the Greene-Robertson Funeral Home, Sutton, WV.with the
