  Notes	An irreplaceable part of our family was lost on Thursday, March 2, 2023. Surrounded by her family, Marianne McCourt, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, Oma, sister, and Tante peacefully passed away at the age of 89. Marianne was born in Obereisesheim, Germany in August of 1933. At the tender age of eighteen, she met and fell deeply in love with Glen McCourt, a United States Army Serviceman. After they were married, Glen brought Marianne to the United States to start a family and to build a beautiful life together. Marianne lived this life to the fullest. Her undeniable passion and creative nature opened many doors along the way. Her talented sewing skills were a perfect example of this creativity. Her love for the craft and her attention to detail, earned Marianne a career as a well-respected and successful seamstress. She also had enjoyed and developed many hobbies that became a part of her life. She was interested in everything from creating sculptures to planting and cultivating a perfect garden. These hobbies were ways that Marianne expressed herself and lived a life of purpose. Inevitably, the most important part of her life was her family. She was fiercely committed to caring for and loving her children and she found so much joy in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marianne is survived by her four children Dan McCourt, Darlene Novosel, Debbie Brown, and Glen McCourt as well as their loving spouses. She was blessed to have eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren at the time of her passing. While Marianne had a wonderful life, she never quite recovered from the loss of her husband Glen in 2000. Her family takes comfort in knowing that at last Marianne and Glen are together again. May she rest in peace. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday April 8, 2023 at 11:30am At the Casta del Sol Clubhouse 27651 Casta del Sol Mission Viejo, CA 92692
